Plan and create posts
From a planner run to a scheduled post: approvals, compliance checks, AI labels.
The path from idea to published post
- Start a planner run (or review suggestions GrowVenom made for you).
- Approve the written text.
- Approve the images.
- The compliance check runs on the final copy.
- Schedule the post, or post it now.
Nothing is published until a person has approved it and scheduled it. Viewers cannot take any of these steps. See Getting started for roles.
Start a planner run
Open the Planning area. It has four tabs: Co-Pilot, Auto Pilot, Weekly Flow and Runs.
- Co-Pilot is where you start a run yourself. Describe the topic or angle, add optional notes and design notes, attach reference files if you like, choose a product or leave it brand-level, and press Start run.
- Auto Pilot is a review queue of ideas drafted from your brand profile. You approve or reject each one.
- Weekly Flow gives you a recurring set of suggestions to review.
- Runs lists every run from all three, with its current stage.
A run drafts the post for your platform, including the headline, caption, call to action and the visual direction. A planner run costs a small number of credits. See How credits work.
Approve the text
The run page shows the drafted post with its caption. You can edit the headline and caption in place, then press Approve. Pressing Decline rejects the draft.
Approving the text is what starts image generation, so this is the moment credits are spent on images. A cost hint sits next to the button. There is also a checkbox, Generate all images automatically. Turn it on to skip approving each image one by one. You can set your default for this in the planning defaults.
Approve the images
Each slide appears as it finishes rendering. A header on the post shows how many images are approved, for example 2 of 5. For each slide you can:
- Approve it.
- Decline it.
- Ask for a revision with a short note about what to change.
Once the text and every image are approved, the post moves to Ready to schedule.
The compliance check
Before a post can be scheduled or published, its final copy is checked against claim and wording rules. The result shows in the schedule dialog. Nothing is rewritten for you. You will see one of these:
- Compliance: review. Flags to look at. These do not block anything.
- Compliance: edit before publishing. One or more rules were broken. The list shows each rule and the reason. Edit the caption, and the check runs again when you schedule.
Publish anyway
Some blocks can be overridden. A workspace owner or admin sees a Publish anyway button. Pressing it asks for a reason, which is required. The reason is saved with the override and your name, and it is shown on the post afterwards.
- Members and viewers see a note that an owner or admin can publish it anyway.
- Some rules cannot be overridden. For those, the notice lists the rule and says it must be edited.
- An override applies to the exact text it was recorded for. If you edit the caption afterwards, the check runs on the new text and you need a new override if it still blocks.
Schedule or post now
From the Ready to schedule queue, or from a run page, open the schedule dialog for a post.
- Platforms. Pick one or both. A platform that is not connected is greyed out and points you to Brand Manager, Channels. You can post to several platforms in one go.
- When. Choose a date, time and time zone, or choose to post now. A scheduled time must be at least 15 minutes from now.
- Caption. You can make a last edit in the dialog. The edited caption is what publishes, and editing does not change the post's approval.
If one platform fails and another works, the dialog tells you which, and lets you retry only the ones that failed. Scheduled posts also show on the calendar. Caption limits are 2,200 characters on Instagram and 3,000 on LinkedIn.
AI labels and disclaimers
The schedule dialog shows what publishing will add to your caption:
- Disclaimer. If a required disclaimer applies, it is added at the end of the caption, once. A drafted disclaimer that is not a real disclaimer is dropped, and your workspace's own text is used instead when there is one.
- #ad. Added when a check says a post needs it, for example creator-style content that promotes a product.
- Label as AI-generated.A checkbox. It is on by default for posts with generated images or video, and off for your own uploaded media posted as is. On Instagram this turns on Instagram's own AI info label. LinkedIn has no such label.
Labelling AI content is your call as the publisher, and rules differ by country and platform. Leave the label on if you are unsure.
