Troubleshooting
Fixes for "Not enough credits", billing issues, reconnect prompts and view-only access.
“Not enough credits”
A run, an image or a video stopped with a banner saying Not enough credits. The banner shows how many credits the step needs and how many you have.
- The step was stopped before anything was generated, so nothing was charged for it.
- Check Settings, Billing. Credits held for jobs that are still running are not available to spend, and plan credits expire at the end of each billing period.
- Add credits with the Add credits link in the banner, buy a pack on the Billing page, or upgrade your plan. Only owners and admins can do this.
- Once credits are in, open the job and retry.
More in How credits work.
“Billing issue: update your payment method”
Your subscription has a failed payment, is unpaid, paused or ended, so new generation is paused. Existing content stays readable, and jobs already running finish.
- Ask an owner or admin to open Settings, Billing.
- Press Manage billing and update the card, or pay the open invoice.
- Once the payment succeeds, generation resumes without any other step.
If the message says billing is on hold for the workspace, email hello@growvenom.ai. See Billing.
Reconnect prompts
An account card in Brand Manager, Channels shows Token expired, Needs reconnect or Access revoked, or a post failed to publish because the connection stopped working.
- Press Reconnect (or Connect) on that card and sign in to the platform again.
- Use the same account as before. Instagram must still be a professional account, and for LinkedIn you must still be an admin of the page.
- An owner or admin has to do it. Members and viewers cannot connect accounts.
- If a login ends with an error, the message says why, for example that the Instagram account is not professional, or that you do not administer any LinkedIn page.
- After reconnecting, retry any post that failed. Posts cancelled by a disconnect need to be scheduled again.

View-only access
Buttons are greyed out with a “View-only access” tip, or an action fails with Your role is read-only. Ask an owner or admin for edit access.
- This means your role is Viewer. Viewers can read content, runs and analytics, but cannot create, edit or approve.
- Some pages are limited by role even for members, for example the brand profile, which only owners and admins edit.
- An owner or admin can change your role under Settings, Members. After the change, sign out and back in so your access refreshes.
- If a page is missing from your sidebar, an owner or admin may have limited which Venom Managers you can see. Ask them to adjust it.
Roles are explained in Getting started.
